We were asked to bid vinyl siding for a 1980’s vintage split level in Eden Prairie, MN. The customer felt that because most of the homes in their neighborhood were vinyl sided, they should stick with the same material. After introducing James Hardie, Color Plus siding as a viable option, and showing them the “Return on Investment” (ROI) factor, we were able to convince them that James Hardie Fiber Cement siding was the way to go. Their home was nice, the neighborhood was nice, and we are hoping that many of the neighbors will follow suit. Sometimes it only takes one to get the ball rolling. This savvy investment will certainly create a bump in their home value and the value of others as the trend continues.
